RCIA: Becoming Catholic – Adults

RCIA: Becoming Catholic – Adults

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a Journey to Faith which we accomplish through our series of presentations, fellowship and small group discussions about relevant topics such as; Eucharist, Trinity, Seven Sacraments, and the Ten Commandments.  The whole Community of Saint Mary joins in this journey through their prayers and generous support of the program.  The RCIA committee, under the direction and guidance of our Pastor, Father Mosimann, invites anyone who may be thinking of becoming Catholic to “Come and See” about the Catholic Faith.  We also welcome anyone who is Catholic and would like to learn more about their faith.

Classes being in September and take place weekly, Monday evenings at 7:30pm in the Church.  The program runs from September through Easter and our candidates (students), if prepared, receive the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass.

Please call the parish office at 540-373-6491 to register for the program or you may e-mail us at rciastmaryfred@gmail.com  to ask any questions.

You are warmly welcome at St. Mary Catholic Church!
