Harris Lucas, Jr., the son of St Mary Director of Religious Education Harris Lucas and his wife, Jean, passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 12. His funeral will be this Wednesday, December 18, at 2pm at St Mary. All are invited to support Harris and Jean and to pray for Harris, Jr., and Harris, Jr.’s family.

What preparations did the Lord make for His coming? Only one thing: the perfect Immaculate Soul of His Mother. That’s it.
They didn’t have a place to stay, they didn’t have a fancy hospital, or a perfectly prepared baby-room.
I wish that we could be likewise prepared. This week confessions will be available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30-7:30pm (we will try to finish all that come and arrive before 7:30pm….).
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30-1pm (After the Noon Mass) Expanding more daytime hours as a means of making sacrament more available.
Wednesday 6:30-8:30 pm — (because they are normally scheduled here, this is the exception to the ‘done at 7:30 listing above)
Saturday 8-9am — normal scheduleSaturday 2:30-4:30pm — normal schedule with the bonus of starting a hour early to the normal schedule!!
Find a spot and get ready for Jesus!!
But beware: the lines are much, much longer at the end of the week. That Saturday sessions will likely be the most packed by far.

A Mass in Spanish will be celebrated at 7pm at Holy Cross Academy today (December 12) in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There will be a reception afterwards. All are invited to attend!
The Frank Battista Italian Night will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 6-8:30pm in the Parish Life Center. The net proceeds will be donated to local charities. The menu includes: homemade lasagna, garden salad, spaghetti w/ mari- nara sauce, and Italian rice custard. The dinner is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and is open to the public and pay-at-the-door. Takeouts are available. The cost is Adults/Teens: $8, Seniors (60+):$7, Children (7-12):$6, Children (un- der 7): Free. THE MAX COST PER FAMILY IS $28.
