From Our Pastor
Dear Folks,
Dear Folks,
This Thursday, November 1, is the Solemnity of All Saints and a Holy Day of Obligation. In order to accommodate the vigil Masses, Confession will be canceled this Wednesday at 6:30pm. The Mass Schedule is:
Wednesday, October 31: 6pm and 7:30pm
Thursday, November 1: 6:30am, 9am, 12pm, 6pm, and 7:30pm Bilingual
Friday, November 2 is All Souls Day. In addition to our normal 6:30am, 9am, and 12pm Masses, we will also celebrate a 8pm Candle Light Mass.
On Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., Concerts at Saint Mary will present organist Daniel Chang in a concert which will explore the many tonal resources of St. Mary’s 49-rank Robert William Wallace pipe organ.

Awarded Third Prize in the National Young Artist Competition in Organ Performance at the 2018 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists, Daniel Chang is one of the upcoming young artists of our day. A native of San Francisco, California, Mr. Chang is a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate at the Eastman School of Music where he studies with the renowned David Higgs. Prior to his time at Eastman, Mr. Chang studied composition with David Conte and piano with Alla Gldysheva, both at the San Francisco Conservatory. Daniel Chang also serves as Director of Music at Saint John Episcopal Church, Canandaigua, New York.
The concert program which will be presented by Mr. Chang will include performances of J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in a minor, Vierne’s Etoile du Soir, Franck’s Cantabile, and Allegro from Symphony No. 6 by Charles-Marie Widor. Admission to the concert is free and a free-will offering will be taken to support future Concerts at Saint Mary productions. Following the concert there will be a reception in the church’s Parish Life Center where there will be an opportunity to meet Daniel Chang and share fellowship with others.
Due to a deanery meeting with the Bishop that all priests are required to attend, instead of a 12pm Mass tomorrow, Deacon Alberto will celebrate a Communion Service where he will distribute the Eucharist consecrated at the earlier Masses.
