Dear Folks,
A few things. 🙂
BLA 1: Thanks for you generous response last weekend, despite the snow and rain!
BLA 2: And if you were unable to get out last weekend, please prayerfully consider helping with this very important annual appeal. To make it easy to participate, you can scan the QR below or text “BLA” to 703-260-9800 to make a pledge on-line!
Lent 1: Are you ready? Plan now, so that you can hit the ground running on Wednesday! Speaking of Wednesday, we are adding yet another Mass to be able to give you many options! Ash distribution will be a little different this year, but Holy Communion is the same always!
Lent 2: Fasting and Abstinence, what must we do? Check out the graphic which lays out the minimum fasting abstinence requirements in simple form.Lent 3: How can you do more than the minimum? Daily Challenges, Bishop Barron weekly reflections via Flocknotes, Stations, Adoration and Masses. There are so many ways that you can use this holy season for a tune-up of your soul! See page 5 for SEVEN ideas!
Skiing 1: Lots of folks have asked, so: the ski trip was great. Six feet of snow in the first three days, then sunny skies, priestly fraternity and delicious food!
Pax,
Fr. Mosimann
