All current Confirmation candidates due to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2018 are invited to a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, October 24th at 7:30pm in the Church. We will go over what remains of the confirmation process.
Working with memebers of the Parish Gardens Committee, volunteer students from the University of Mary Washington weeded, trimmed trees, and removed debris as part of the university’s “Into the Streets’ program. There will be a Blessing of the Animals in observance of the Feast of St Francis of Assisi on Saturday, October 7, at 10am in the Marian Prayer Grotto directly in front of the church. All animals are welcomed, but they must be on a leash or in a cage.
This weekend is Parish Life Weekend. There will be a Ministry Fair after all Masses at the church this weekend. Unlike previous years, you will sign up for ministries at the Ministry Fair instead of using the old commitment cards. This will enable faster response times from our coordinators.
