Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church

On Friday, October 20 at 8pm, St Mary’s Director of Music and Organist David Uschold will present a concert as part of the St Mary Concert Art Series.  The program will include works of Bach, Bovet, Cook, and Wright and will feature Sonata No. 1 in D minor, Op. 42 by Alexandre Guilmant.  The concert is free and open to the public.  Following the concert, there will be a reception in the Parish Life Center.  Mark your calendar now to hear Mr. Uschold play the wonderful Robert William Wallace Organ at St Mary.

All current Confirmation candidates due to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2018 are invited to a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, October 24th at 7:30pm in the Church. We will go over what remains of the confirmation process.

Working with memebers of the Parish Gardens Committee, volunteer students from the University of Mary Washington weeded, trimmed trees, and removed debris as part of the university’s “Into the Streets’ program.  Thanks for all the help and the great job! There will be a Blessing of the Animals in observance of the Feast of St Francis of Assisi on Saturday, October 7, at 10am in the Marian Prayer Grotto directly in front of the church.  All animals are welcomed, but they must be on a leash or in a cage.
