From Our Pastor
Dear Folks,
And there was room in the Inn. Merry Christmas! As the Christmas season draws to a close, I am so thankful for all who helped to make our Masses at the Expo Center possible and beautiful.
I am very proud of our parish, we did not have to
turn anyone away from Christmas Mass. All who
came to worship our Lord were able to find a “socially distanced” seat. Mary and Joseph could not find a room in Bethlehem, and while we would have preferred to have Mass in the church, the Expo Center was much warmer and more beautiful than the cave/stable that Mary and Joseph had. It took an extraordinary effort, and there are many folks to thank, please read the “Thank You’s” on page 8 & 9 of today’s bulletin.
Also, because of the pandemic, St Mary’s will not be providing a bus to the March for Life on January 29th, as is it better for families to travel individually. Please see marchforlife.org for more info on this year’s March. It is our hope that despite the challenges many will attend.
In order to witness to our love of LIFE, we will host a “Eucharistic Procession for Life” right here in Fredericksburg on January 24th, the original date of Roe v. Wade. All are welcome to attend. Please see page 5 for more info.
pax et bonum,
Fr. John Mosimann
