From Our Pastor

Dear Folks,

This week you will be receiving in the mail our ministry booklet for the year with the theme “Nothing is impossible for God!” When I slow down enough to look closely, I am amazed at the many ways that God proves over and over that nothing is impossible!

The past year has seen so many signs of wonder and grace that the Lord is accomplishing His purpose! He has brought forth the right skillset of amazingly intelligent, hardworking, and generous volunteers to forge a path forward for work that was deemed impossible. Again, the Lord is showing me that trusting in Him always bears fruit!

This year, instead of offering a very large Parish Life Weekend, we decided to focus, promote and highlight ministries most in need of assistance at this time. To that end, you will find a listing of ministries on this page which are in need of immediate support, and we will work to highlight others in the coming weeks. Our parish is so big that there are never-ending opportunities for you to jump in and find the place to use your gifts. Please consider reaching out directly to the ministry leaders listed in the booklet you will receive this week.

We are also finalizing the dates to bring back the “Called and Gifted” discernment retreat. It has helped many of our most active parishioners to discern what talents and charisms they can share in building up the Kingdom of God.

Thank you for your time, talent, and treasure, by which the Lord is once again proving that “Nothing is Impossible for God.”

pax et bonum,

Father John Mosimann
