Dear Folks,
Last week our parish staff and youth group was informed that Leo Chavarria is going to be leaving our parish staff.  Leo has capably served St. Mary IC as our director of Youth Ministry 10 years.  Thank you Leo, you have done such an amazing job here.  Many parishioners have testified to how much you have enriched and supported the faith life of their children.  You have built up the youth ministry into a juggernaut and the envy of every parish in the diocese!
Below you will find Leo’s letter of announcement he wanted to share with the parish.  His new job will begin May 20th, and so that he can be here through confirmation.  He is not leaving our parish, and I have already started to think of ministries that can use his expertise!
I am grateful for his great service, and trust the Lord to lead him as well as send us someone to build on the great work built by Leo!  Please join me in this prayer intention.
