Dear Folks,

Like you, St. Mary’s is monitoring recommendations for best practices pertaining to Coronavirus.  In the last 24 hours the acceleration of responses has all of our heads spinning, and learning new terms like ‘social distancing.’

Thus we are canceling a number of meetings this weekend (soup supper, confirmation interviews, marriage ministry, Sunday donuts), while maintaining the sacramental and prayer life of the parish (Stations of the Cross, Confessions and Masses).  We will also monitor developments, as civil and ecclesiastical authorities could impose restrictions which render all local decisions moot.

Holy Cross Academy will be closed to students Friday (3/13) and Monday (3/16), as teachers prepare workshops to look forward to the changes that we can foresee.  Religious Education already had off next off.  More decisions will be made for next week as our understanding develops.
