Bishop Burbidge has announced the following clergy changes that affect St Mary, starting on Thursday, June 30:

After 4 years here at St Mary, Father Michael Folmar has been transferred to St Michael’s Parish in Annandale, Virginia.  We will all miss Father’s warmth and enthusiasm, and his ability to crush whatever task was assigned to him.  Please check the bulletin for upcoming information on a going away for Father Folmar.

In his place, the Bishop has assigned Deacon (Soon to be Father) Robert Renner.  Deacon Renner will be ordained to the priesthood at the Cathedral of St Thomas More by Bishop Burbidge on June 4 at 11am.  Deacon Renner was a seminarian assigned to St Mary’s two summers ago in 2020, but, unfortunately, that was the summer of the pandemic so many of you did not get a chance to meet him.
