At the request of the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops), there will be a Special Collection the weekend of September 26/27 for the Bishops’ Emergency Disaster Fund, which will be used to support Catholic Charities USA and Catholic Relief Services in their effort to help the victims of various natural disasters.  All checks should be made payable to St. Mary Catholic Church, with “Disaster Assistance” in the memo line.
